Any thoughts on this metal cat?

    Any thoughts on this? Is it new or old, does anyone know who made it? It's not marked for as far I can see.

    I think it will be an excellent ring holder. :)

    Yes, I believe it’s a ring holder. I do see a lot of these in the thrift shops here in uk.

    Yes, a ring holder.

    A company called INTERPUR made a lot of the silver plated ones in Hong Kong.

    I had a wooden one that the tail was for doughnuts or bagels.

    Cute! I have one of those, but with a dancer standing instead of a cat. The tray is currently being used to hold little bits of broken jewelry that I hope to repair some day.

    Yup, 1970s silver plated ring holder, lots in the UK indeed.

    Hello, this was made by an English company called Seba. It is silver plated. Seba made ring trees and other novelty metalware in various animal shapes. It dates to the 1960s/70s.
