    Hi all im quite new to the antique world im struggling with this piece any help would be great

    The mark reads Kangxi Nian Zhi (made in Kangxi period), but of course it's much later. These red hybrid marks are usually 1960/70's Chinese reproductions shipped through Hong Kong, or made in Macau for the Western decorators market.

    @David Skilton , hope you didn't pay too much for this, if so, I would ask for a refund. Using the details Ce Bca gave, you now know what you have.
    If you keep it, even reproductions can be worth a dollar or two, if they are properly identified, titled and well described.
