Yes, as soon as the item is in-hand. It was another one of those misidentified and/or un-researched internet buys. ;)

    JAR AND BRACELET 001-001.JPG

Paid less than $20 for this 19th C. Chinese Peking glass faceted jar and mid-20th C. bracelet made by:

No theres no finds, I take my grand kids to school and this time of year, by the time I do that the sales would be ravaged. Estate sales or few sales here are dangerous to attend when opening LOL
or absolutely stripped of anything, or garbage. I went to swap Saturday but went home empty handed....sure have the buyin bug, may have to hit a thift or 2 just to ease my mind lol

It appears my last post got chopped, cut and rebuilt by my favorite mod.....lol!

Anyway, looks like you read the message prior to that and a reply was sent via IM.

Hmmm... I'm sure I can go back and find unedited versions of similar post posted by other members, but why bother? I totally understand.

    *Guilty as charged...

    My bad. Thank you.

We do have a section, marketplace, where open trade is allowed.
Perhaps in the future when you want to extend a specific offer to sell you will benefit from posting in this more appropriate area.

image.jpg Here's a vintage rocking chair that someone tossed next to the dumpster at work today.

Ya, it needs some TLC, but I think I can handle that. Not bad for free.

I went thrifting with a friend of mine. We had loads of fun but my family was not happy when I brought home all this china...[IMG]
In total, I got six bread and butter plates, one soup bowl, and two cups and saucers of the Everbrite Japan print, and one desert/berry bowl of the Johann Havilland 'Royal Lace' print.
And also, a late birthday gift from my great aunt. I was pleased to find that, on closer examination, the floral designs on the matte are all hand painted.

Terraspirit, that is a lovely birthday gift from your aunt. I especially like the matte. It is very pretty.

I agree, that is a wonderful gift from your aunt Terraspirit!
Here are a few of my finds - Yellow vase I think is Czech, some type of lens, pretty pink bead necklace, lead flat toys, 2 have Grey's Cigarettes on the front - from what I can find these were give-aways in the 1930s, stag gun swabs, Meriden B Company pot/container with lid, tin with spout that I wonder if it is for black powder and a thin metal brooch.

How far does the stem of the spout go into the can?

    More pics of the lens

Terry I started a thread about the lens.
I can't see inside the can, not sure how I could find that out.

Oh I didnt know, have seen it here several times, and appreciate the relaxed venue
Guess I been breaking all kinds of laws after doing time for shipping a thermometer and then learning golf, I will have to educate myself to the laws here for some anyway....before I hit the big house
I guess I have seen that before but thanks so much for refreshing my memory:kiss:
But I had seen it before with no mention so had no intention of breaking the law this time
Unfortunately it kind of feels like a target on thy back....have seen it here on this find thread with NOOOOO mention whatsoever
Yes we are not in a particular mods favor.....
Just thought this was a more relaxed agenda but depending on who you ----
Maybe a private message would have been more appropriate instead of public smack down, was really no big deal and with a little more thought could have posted it in the proper venue.....
