Murano Glass

    Hi all, purchased a clear scalloped vase, swith purple swirls, sticker says "murano glassware" no engraving, no signature, small bubbles in it, however, there was also a sticker that said china on it, but it could have ended uo there after falling of another piece at the thrift. I know real murano does not come from china. Also no traces or gold or silver on it. Its still beautiful, and for 3 dollars its no loss. Any ideas?

    Handkerchief vase? I'm not a glassie, but that phrase popped into my head. I like the color.

    For what it is worth...I think I have seen that label at Marshalls...with also a China sticker... I assumed that "Murano Glassware" does not mean made in Murano..but rather a misleading company name or being Murano inspired . But as usual I can be so wrong..;)
