    Hi fellow Antiquers,
Here is my little cup. I’ve been loathe to sell it mainly because I love it but also because I just can’t find anything else like it on the web. I wouldn’t know how to list it. I need someone in the know to give me some clues.

Can you please edit your post so the photos are full size instead of thumbnails?

Also, what is the mark on the bottom at about 7:00 on your first photo? Can you get a close up of it?

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Are those holes IN the bottom of the cup or just flecks of dirt??
AND, Marie Forjan was just asking about this mark.....

SIS, I remembered that one and went looking for it (via SEARCH) but I couldn't remember what it was called, so I couldn't find it! Thanks for re-posting the link.

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for all your brilliant input. Here are the images full sized and yes they are holes not flecks.

Oops at the moment the system won’t let me upload photos. I’ll call back later and post the full sized ones.

Hi, your nice little cup is Kyoto Satsuma, early 20th c. As Marie Forjan and Aquitaine pointed out already, it is marked. The impressed mark reads "Kinkozan" (錦光山). He was a well known producer of Satsuma wares.

Apparently! I just marked Mat's post also. [Update: Mine doesn't appear to be showing up. Maybe it only works for the OP in a thread.]

Maybe it's because there can only be 1 BEST?

I did as well, just to give it a try after Bakers noticed, and because Mat's answer is the best in this thread. It doesn't go green, but it does say "Unmark Best Answer" (shows for me, wouldn't for anyone else), so it did register somewhere.

Makes sense ... maybe it's eBay that allows selection of more than one Best Answer. I've seen it somewhere.
