925 silver with 14ct overlay detail. And interestingly, spelled the European way, so that narrows it. Moonstones. Let me think about the marks.

I don't see any traces of gold overlay.

That's been around a few. I'm guessing it's about 50 years old. There's probably no way to know whodunit at this point.

I am not sure what the signature read. Something OTO?

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Does the signature look like it's on a blob of silver that was added later? That's how it looks to me.

The letters almost look Cyrillic, but that wouldn't make sense. Looks like Лото or Лого -- unless that first letter is an A? Aoto?

I'm being clear as mud. ;) If you look at the mark, it says 925 and 14ct . That implies that it has or had some element of a gold overlay of some sort.

The siggy is on blob of silver that could have been added later. Maybe the owners name.
That makes sense, a combination of sterling and white gold.

Sig almost looks like the side view of a bird shaped into an A with ORO ?

My poor eyes.now the ORO looks like OTO or a scale? I need coffee.

I can't see any colour difference, but the wire being gold makes sense. I suspect the blob mark is maker - I've seen people do that.

Gee, these old eyes are seeing Aoro rather than Aoto. Now, remember these are olddddd eyes so show them some respect. I expect bowing and scraping! Anyways, running on the thought of Aoro, I thought of oro as the word for gold in several languages like Spanish and Italian. I came across an Italian jewelry something with the name Arezia Oro. I can't seem to find their mark, but thought Aoro certainly would fit the bill for a possible mark for them. Of course I haven't a shred of proof it is their mark. Just wanted to throw it into the "hopper."

Do note the stylized ORO near the top left of the page:

Scratch my reply above. Have now spotted a necklace by Arezia Oro marked with the Italian official national markings and a couple of other gold and or silver items marked Italy and AERO. Also the company wasn't started until the 1970s making it not old enough for this bracelet.

Gold-plated necklace of theirs marked with the Italian national marks of 1968 to present: rectangular cartouche with star, their registered number, and the letters AR for the province of Arezzo where the company is located:

This may be earrings by them that are marked AERO:

There's that sort of dolphin shaped thingie too. 14ct is relatively unusual - as I said, European, but also Australian. More recent European would have the common control marks.

I just took another look at the back - they used the 14ct mark. The letters look like Aora, but the only company I can find that uses the name is an Indonesian pay TV network. The CT mark tells me this may be British, or from somewhere in the Commonwealth.

Not American anyway, unless it was done by an immigrant dude who brought his old tools with him. Intermediate period someplace?
