There's only 1 piece in the picture and it is clearly marked Hecho en Mexico. (Made in Mexico) The handwritten words and numbers are from the place you bought it from.

Cannot tell how old it might be without more pictures of the item.

Ah. Well then that's she paid (although it looks fairly recent.) Do you know when and where she got it?

"As is" implies damage. Can we see more?

So sorry for your loss, Kandy. I am no expert on Mexican pottery, so we'll need others who are better informed to post. People come and go all day and all night, it could be a while. Be patient.

We hear that from new members all time. The site's file size limit is 1MB - which should be plenty, but a phone camera file is way larger. Email the picture to yourself, selecting size "Medium", save that and then upload here.

The ink stamp probably means newer. All my Mexican pottery is signed by hand or engraved. I think this is called wedding vase, is it open on both sides?

Not a wedding vase, it was an effigy pot, and had a little animal's head on one side, until it lost at least one ear (can't see the other side.) That damage was probably what the "as is" was referring to.

It's a fairly common souvenir item, of decorative value only. Hand made, not glazed, fired outdoors, so don't get it wet.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Welcome to Antiquers, @Kandyb56 . I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Taupou is an expert on this sort of thing, so I recommend that you go with that answer.
