Featured Silver spoon,a little help ?

    Hi all. I picked this beauty up a few days ago,and Im sorry to admit but trying to figure these marks out forever eludes me! I think its from either 1600s or 1840 ! Its 9 inches long,and any help you can give would be awesome.

    Yup. Really that old. BTW, I was reading that maker's mark as BT, but it's not. It's RT.

    English silver isn't nearly as complicated as you might think. ;)

    It has the crowned leopard head too, so yep it's older than dirt.

    9" Long! Is this spoon from the days when everyone had one spoon that went everywhere with them and if they didn't have one, they couldn't eat? :happy:
