Excuse the crappy pics, excited to find out what I may have. This stands about 5" tall and is unmarked.

Unglazed in the middle of the fishies, and inside the "vases", yes? Gut feel is fairly recent Asian, but nicely done.

I'm not sure about that, bear - to me it looks like it might be glazed?
Waiting with bated breath to find out. :)

I like it also. The three openings and the colors on the vase would make it sooooo easy to use with various flowers, and the size is nice for use on a "small(er)" surface.

Sorry, I simply cannot resist. It just struck me that this thread is fertile ground for some "fun" with words.

Good links. I looked at Ebay under both spill and posy...both showing single vase type things...might use both name in my title

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Would also make a nice holder for pencils or pens, I think. I've done that with small planters before.

The ones I use are cheaper old ceramic planters... figural. Yes, didn't think about what the value of this one might be.

Reminds me of the very expensive Haida indian slate carving found in the English country side.
They were using it as a door stop !!

What's the value of this fish item? How do we know it would be an expensive pencil holder? :watching:

Well, I don't think it is a $10 knock-off, but otherwise it's pretty much what ever the market decides.
