Featured A Sweet Little Ring - Any Idea What The Stone Is?

I have been MIA for a couple of months due to work commitments but I'm back now Chatting with you all is a lot more fun than work.
I have recently had this little ring of my Gran's cleaned and valued.
The ring is stamped 18CT and the diamonds are old mine cut.
Who can pick the main stone? I was surprised when I received the valuation
Second question is - what is the country of origin of the main stone?

Love the ring, a sort of toi et moi shape, popular for engagement rings in the early 20th century.
The stone could be a number of stones, is it green? Green tourmaline, green sapphire? I have a beautiful dark green tourmaline from Brazil.

 

The stone is actually bluish green.

What is toi et moi please?

Toi et moi is French for you and me, it is a ring shape with two ends 'embracing' each other. It usually has two stones on the ends. Yours is a bit like a toi et moi shape, except it has a central stone.

If it is a diamond, it isn't a black diamond.
Diamonds occur naturally in just about any colour. I have an Indian pendant with blue and green diamonds, so your bluish green stone could be a diamond.
