    Hi Josh,
I have had a couple of pieces of your second piece with the yellow trim. Once piece still had a Made in Germany label. it was never ID'd. I think it was taller more than round.

No. 2: Even given Greg's assessment above, I'd aver this was the Gonterman pattern from Geo. Duncan & Sons. I don't seem to have a picture on file...It was Duncan's No. 95, Introduced in July 1887, discontinued by 1890. Its found on page 96 of Early Duncan Glassware.

Here's a picture, not sure what size it will come through as. Gonterman set.jpg

OK, there is it. I know, this isn't documentation. You'll just have to trust the book.

    Hi Tom,
Thanks for the photo. The photo by Josh does not have the knob on the stem either. Neither did my pieces. I wonder who made them????

I would offer that the knob on the stem was deleted due to the short length of the stem. At that size it could have been a master berry bowl. Regardless of who made it it's a lovely pattern and a beautiful bowl.

Only George Duncan& Sons made this pattern. Yes, the table set might well have had different stems than the compotes. I hate to say rare, but this is a very scarce pattern.
