Simmons Partner Desk?

I have found a Simmons double sided desk with bookshelves on each end. However I cannot seem to find much information on it except it's supposedly rare. Any ideas? I am working on a few pictures now.

Would think there are not too many of these out there. As with most Simmons furniture, the value is in condition and/or how refinished. The lacquered bare metal of the example posted is often a preferred finish and brings a premium.

 

I did see that one! I just hadn't ever seen one of them before. It is definitely a unique piece just not sure where to start with it. I found this site and was hoping maybe someone had some information. I did see you knew a bit about this brand.

I'm a new member and I'm sure I am posting incorrectly and maybe someone can help me, but does anyone know anything about metal Simmons Theme Unit furniture? These have metal drawer slides like the Sheraton pieces and not wood like the Geddes/Post-Geddes pieces. The beige piece has a stencil that looks like it reads, "JAN 59". Thank you.

 

I think all the other information/discussion about Simmons furniture applies here as well. Styling is MCM so probably better than the traditional stuff but not a high demand item.

 

Thank you. I didn't think they were worth much but they are kind of funky and I couldn't stand to see them get scrapped.
