Featured Silver Mark Help Please

I picked this up at a local shop, it was too cute, I had to buy it!

A silver charm or pendant with a silver surprise inside. The case measures 1-1/4" long and 1/2" across, the surprise when extended measures 2-1/2" long...







A telescoping cigarette holder!


This is the mark on cigarette holder, sorry, I know it is blurry. The mark looks like "FKS" in a diamond shape with "Silver" and 2 anchors below. It can be seen more clearly in the next photo of the mark on the case.







This is the mark on the other side of the case, "Kascon", this mark is not on the cigarette holder, only the case...



I have Googles "Kascon silver marks" and "FKS silver marks". I checked the 925 site for American silver marks with anything similar and can't find it.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you for any suggestions

 

Is that really an n at the end or is it the end quotes on the name?

I found nothing about FKS in a diamond in Rainwater either (I tried the F section, the K section and even tried R just in case.) I am skeptical about this being sterling, but if it tests as such, having just SILVER suggests Japan or India to me. Could have been made by whoever KASCO(N) is.

 

As I suspected - it's Kasco, not Kascon, and appears to be Japanese made. Because of the age of this EBay listing on Google you can't get to the description, but look at the pictures and listing title.

And when you search Kasco cigarette holder, there are a few other pictures of the same arrangement as yours, one of which is engraved with Mt. Fuji and a typical Japanese fir tree.

EDIT - A second try worked! That's one of the "other pictures" I mentioned above.

Very cute, I would almost consider taking up smoking.
Or have lenses put in it, and turn it into a miniature telescope.

Mind you, I still treasure my great-grandfather's silver and amber cheroot holder in a case that looks like a tiny violin case, and haven't smoked a cheroot in my life.
