jiaqing tea pot from porcelain?

    this could be so far my best find on chinese porcelain, this piece checks all the marks for me, the only thing I am not quiet sure about is the seal mark, I found that it's similar to jiaqing mark but there is some variation, can you confirm that guys?

    This is a nice quality teapot but it is probably no more than 10 years old.

    I agree, not very old. Pity about the crack, does it still hold tea?

    Chinese marks are often apocryphical, which means the piece is later than the period of the mark. It is usually done in honour of a historic period, sometimes meant to deceive the buyer.

    I am so speechless, can you tell where can I have a solid knowledge about porcelain! I am doing always the same mistakes, I'm so rush in my judgement!

    Years of learning..........there is no one site or one book that will do what time does the best !!!
