DE3FD36C-819E-4EA1-A32E-537E6AC1D2CA.jpeg So far This tea pot looks like many others in the same style, yet none of the others are close enough to be a match.

The number on the bottom is the only mark found. 1821 But each digit looks to be different in size and one is upside down.

Dimensions of 11” long, 6” tall, 5” wide, and 581 grams weight, are common.

Very much used and somewhat abused.

Maybe Silver Plate, or maybe Nickel
    Handle seems to be Bakelite

Its unusual Scalloped or Fluted belly panels have a great deal of detail.

It’s easy to find similar tea pots but none so far are close enough to be considered an identification.

    Can anyone help ? 2B8B0EF3-860D-459C-8DAD-45BC8D5FCF83.jpeg 0A8B5B15-BC72-4540-B79B-4A3014AD5629.jpeg

If sterling and English the mark could be anywhere.
Have you checked these spots, along with inside the lid near the hinge.
Have you polished it. Sometimes you'll find the mark while cleaning.

Oh and the handle may be japaned wood and not bakelite.

yes - did check the locations mentioned - no marks - when I am home again I will send a few more photos showing those locations

The handle does not feel or look quite like Bakelite to me either - so japaned wood might be the right answer - I'll have to look it up to know what it is....

Thank You for your thoughts -

Thank you for the other pictures.
The bottom shows wear. I would say plated and not sterling
