I have bids in on mostly all the Sterling items - What sucks? - The last minute rounds of bidding! You can loose items at the last second, which is the norm, but they don't ship or hold items! So I have to pay a minimum of $50 plus for a 3rd party to pick up and ship to me, even if it ends up I won only one $5 item at the end!!! I know poor me!!!

Anyone have any cost saving ideas?

Check out the auction and tell me what you would bid on and how much, just for fun.

Online bidding with auction houses can be tricky. I've had to pay the UPS store a number of times to go pick up items and pack/ship. Always costly. Makes you really appreciate ebay as a buyer, and really hate ebay as a seller.

Hi Robert, I haven't scrolled the whole site yet, but it looks like some stunning items in this auction.
Don't know where you are located, but if in the US, don't forget that you have the benefit of the nearly 30% exchange rate...that would balance out some or all of the shipping costs.

Robert, I would go for the Set of 6 Oyster Plates. With 4 days to go, they are still well under what they are worth.
