HELP ME IDENTIFY WHICH 'DAWSON' PAINTING I HAVE

I was in Hialeah (west Miami) and saw a thrift store - so I had to stop! I found this painting, as well as another similar mid century palette style painting & bought them both for under $50
The artist's name is Dawson, but there are a lot of them out there & it was already hard to tell who signed it in the thick paint.
Can anyone tell me about the artist of this kind of haunting but kind of cool painting?

PS - By the wood spacer on the back I'm guessing this is a mid century painting?

Thanks. It is a great site for lists of artists, really detailed and there is lots to search for Dawson. I use Invaluable all the time for biding at auction but never searched for information. Thanks for the suggestion.

 

I'm seeing something like Eze Dawson...top part of the "E" is white...kind of looks like other undiscernible letters off to the left too, but that's what I generally see of the name....don't see a date......and yes, a fairly sad, desolate painting......
