Pottery Girl Swinging Planter - Modern Decor?

    This is a a piece at a local GW store. I'm thinking it is modern decor, but I haven't been able to find any info or other examples. The bottom has a fairly rough horizontal mold line. The clay is the dark brown color (same as the girls hands and face). The swing is a separate piece made of wood. The top of her head is open, so I'm assuming it's function is a planter. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
    When I was a kid in the 40s I won a statue of Pocahantas that looks like this. I think it is a 60s/70s type of thing.
