Help identifying Italian piece

I have this heavy jardinière (?) that I would like to know a little more about, but so far I'm not coming up with anything. It appears to be numbered, be made in Italy and have a signature that I cannot make out.

Would anyone be familiar with these markings?

That first letter does not look like a Z to me, but there is Zaccagnini pottery.

 

I think that's it. There's the Z above the word Italy, which the OP chopped off in the photo.

 

You're right. I got focussed in on the longer name & did not notice anything other than Italy. I don't know anything about pottery, but do have experience with trying to decipher Italian names on the backs of things.

Here is the making I inadvertently cut off in the first shot.

 

The mark is, indeed, that of Ugo Zaccagnini of Florence. This particular signature dates to about 1960 through 2000. I would date this piece to the early 1960’s.

Walter, why doesn't any other Zaccagnini pottery that comes up with Google or that is shown in your article look remotely like this in style? I initially discounted the connection because the look was so different. How would you describe this piece?
