    Hi again, I found this large Italian bowl a few years back at a thrift shop. It was completely in one piece when I bought it, but unfortunately I dropped a lamp on it some time ago and now it misses a piece on the edge. I can still kick myself in the head for that. :shifty: I would like some help identifying what time it's from.

    It's hard to read, but this says "Fatto a Mano".

    And this "329 Made in Italy"

    Edit: I'd also like to know if it's common so I can get one again that is in one piece :facepalm:

    komokwa The Truth is out there...!

    fatto = made
    mano= hand

    & size is always helpful when posting an item that could be a tureen...or a sorbet bowl.....:inpain:;);)

    Thank you I didn't know that!
    Here is a shot glass on top of it for size reference.

    It measures 27,4cm / 10,6 inch on top and 14 cm / 5,5 inch at the bottom.

    Bassano is a ceramics manufacturing town in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy. There are different manufacturers, who produce a lot of tableware, often these really nice food shaped ceramics, or ware with floral decorations.
    You should be able to get a replacement, it may take some persistence. Check Marktplaats regularly.:)
