Qianlong vase?

    Hi there. I'm new to the forum. I bought this vase recently. The mark is Qianlong but it's probably more recent origin? I'd be grateful for any views. Thanks :) Tara

    That is clearly modern "honorific" mark, 20th century.

    there's also a concern because the mark itself is not even made correctly for a so called apocryphal mark. The character in the lower left: that looks like a menorah with 5 candles. An apocryphal mark is supposed to have only 3 prongs there not 5. The actual historical marks did have 5, and using 3 prongs is a way of saying we are not trying to fake an old mark, just paying homage to it. I will try to post a link.
