Obverse : Draped Bust of Republic with phrighian cup and olive branch, facing right; "REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE".

Reverse : Armored and draped Republic, seated left on a rock with his right hand holding a flag-bearer and his left hand an olive branch on his right a child holding ears of wheat and a hammer, 5c below right; cornucopia, "LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE", torch.

And italicized places should read 'phrygian cap' & 'her'.

5 Centimes , a very common coin, worth around $0.20 if you are lucky.
The folder is describing something else.

Another one who can't tell male from female. I sometimes wonder how there can be over 7 billion people in this world.
The ancient Phrighians would be terming in their ghraiphes, buy the weigh.:)

thank you all for your knowledge, and the lively conversation, folder is in trash, dont quite know what Ill do with it, probably put it into a lot of other common old coins, not much interest in foreign coins here in my neck of woods, (South Texas)
