I still have to upload photos of the $3 find from the outdoor show.....I tried and they didn't attach.

These are finds from a silver scrapping operation.... I would go more often, but they are a round-trip four-hour drive.

This is vintage Creed sterling, an interfaith medallion. I have not seen another one on the internet.

I haven't bought a Wallace Nutting in ages but there are scarce ones still worth buying like "tiger lilies". The photo itself is large @ 13-1/2" x 10-1/2".

Love the thermometer, and it's from my dad's old stomping grounds. I went to a school fundraiser sale yesterday, and spent $40, $15 more than they asked for. Why? A bunch of melt-me modern scrap gold; I didn't want to feel like a total cheapskate. It was raining and the sale started at 8AM indoors; I don't think anyone realized it was even there. One other person walked in after me, and I was in there for over an hour. I ended up with a few ounces of silver jewelry too, along with someone's lucky penny and a gnome who will roam no more. He's a little ceramic dude with a Norwegian company name on the back. The penny has a 1944 date on it...from the Philippines. The big cuff is just marked Best, and the kitty is a gift for a friend.

You found silver in Savers? WOW! I don't get there often, but when I do I find sweet fanny adams in the metalware.

    Great finds everyone! :)

Anund, that Wallace Nutting is striking!

Speechless about the Saver's silver. Fantastic. That would never show up at our thrift. Someone would have to wheel the wrong cart out or something...

Nice finds. I wish we had a Savers here, I don't think they are in New Jersey.

I went to a sad little outdoor antique show, didn't know if it was a go because of the weather, and since I didn't get there three hours early, no great shakes, but a few things I liked. The weather here is terrible. I am hoping for good weather for Memorial Day Saturday.... I know of one church sale happening and farther down, a bi-annual outdoor antique show. Plus tons of yard sales are done here then.

That's Rosenthal Classic Rose or Moss Rose, yes? I've a lot of it, but not with silver. We had an au pair when I was little, whose mother worked at Rosenthal and she'd send stuff over.

Mine was a Hermes Passementerie silk scarf yesterday. Photo when I've had it cleaned. Nice lady knew it was Hermes, said tentatively would I pay a fiver and I grabbed it and ran. I'm keeping that one, I love Hermes. It had been her mother's, so she was rather pleased when I said it was for me.

It's costing me £6.50 to get it properly cleaned: worth every penny, they seem to sell for about three hundred!

I found a thimble that may or may not be silver.
The only mark is what looks like 3 bells inside a shield.
I haven't got Makro so it isn't too clear but maybe you will get enough.
    I can't find anything. IMG_1384.jpg

Does anyone know what this mark might be?
