Boy eating , 1895 ?

Find out that it's from Switzerland, nothing more, please need some help

Googling "E. Pröschold" brings up a few images similar to yours and eBay Germany has at least one on sale with the title given as "Mittagsgebet" (noon or lunchtime prayer). Asking price 36 € or offers.

 

That does not happen everyday! Did its source yield any clues? How long have you owned it?

litho print by a cooperative in Zürich. I suspect socialist coop that did cheap reprints of generic pictures for little money for the working class that often came from the countryside and Alpine valleys during those years to work in the industry.
the boy is eating a milk soup with bread. the bowl is VERY Swiss and also used for "Zäuerle" and Talerschwinge in Appenzell as an "instrument".

 

Both appear to be framed identically, and those frames don't look terribly old, maybe 1980s?

 

I may have misunderstood, were
Elias Josefsson's second set of images found elsewhere?
If so, they are indeed the same item. (A) is from Elias Josefsson and (B) is what he has found.
The white spot and wrinkle above the signature match, as does the wood grain.

Comparing is a form of proofreading. I worked in printing and graphics for years.

 

I did also, but it was many decades ago. My eyesight isn't great anymore.
