    Rather than Cubism, I would think artist meant to simulate stained glass.

    I find these pencil signatures incredibly hard to read on prints, etchings etc Maybe try a reverse image search on the work? That helps me sometimes!

    The name does end in st. But the number within the engraving looks like 15. Where do you see 52? Maybe I'm missing something?

    Ah! I realize now what happened. But looking again. I think the number is 57 (the 7 with a typical European cross piece. Sorry. Too many examples
