vibrant cherise/red signed vase

    hi,

    could anyone help or identify this vase

    i thought west germany when i saw it, but have no idea

    i presume the (c)90 is copyright 1990

    Can't help, other than that it looks Art Nouveau in style.

    When I see that mold line, copyright and a naive signature I always assume it's one of those crafter pieces from a commercial mold like Holland Mold etc. Sometimes the glazes are really pretty.

    Of course I don't know for sure about yours.

    yeah, i know exactly what your saying sis

    was only cheap, so doesnt really matter

    its a bit contradictory

    I agree with SIS. The scratched “A” and the copyright mark on the bottom makes me think of hobbyist wares. This one is rather nice with the drip glaze.
