Blooey, you are so in touch with the world!

I don't believe in coincidence, but rather everything happens for reasons. I would take this as a divine path sent to put it up for sale now, if you're not planning to keep it. Best wishes, Mikeyaces.

Found only one copy of the Reil on Abebooks. That one seems to be in much worse condition than yours but that seller also asking $100. The authorship is an attribution: "Attributed to Joseph Edmund Collins--A checklist of Canadian literature / R.E. Watters." (Checklist of Canadian Literature and Background Materials, Reginald Eyre Watters, University of Toronto Press, 1973)

How would one go about putting it for sale and receiving the best outcome. Haven’t sold anything yet. All just collecting so far. Any ideas antidiem?

I suggest since you said you haven't sold stuff online yet, that you do not start with this potentially valuable book. I find it best to start with mundane items like excess household items or clothing in excellent shape - to get a feel for how the online seller's marketplace works. You will need some months to learn the ins and outs of online sales, as you work your way through it. I have used several online sales platforms, at this point, I cannot tell you what venue is best for books.

Hopefully another Antiquer member will stumble upon this thread, and can recommend a book selling venue for both of us! ;)

I also suggest you start learning to list and sell books, it's not difficult, and they can be shipped WITH many other items, sometimes I've sold a tshirt and a book together. Often when someone looks at an item you have for sale, they will click "see seller's other items" and they will find a second item that they will like to receive a special shipping dispensation on. You can learn to do this.

One more suggestion, if you already have an account to buy stuff on ebay - you can start selling with your buying account, as it should show some feedback already. Ebay gives buyers a good opportunity to list a certain amount of items for free each month, ebay takes their commission when the item sells.

Then you can make a new buying account. I generally do not use my selling account to buy items online with.

Interesting I am familiar with marketplace but don’t think it’s the right kinda market for this book as everyone on there looking to buy for less. I don’t have eBay but perhaps I can setup an account if it’s better for selling books.
