    lovely ideas, but I think neither the Polish nor the Germans crazy enough to rebuild old walls. the two in Monreal - very nice village - were destroyed by the French in the 17th c.; although there were measures taken to stabilize the remnants, it doesn't look like that today.

    Yes, Polish are crazy enough :)and they conserve these ruins ...so they have almost 80k tourists a year there. I just read about it.
