Not a bad lot. Very well packed, and there were 29, which meant they cost me about 33 pence each. A few keepers, the rest will go in bundles, a couple might be gifts.

The coral was fake, but hey.

I like the green ones particularly and wonder about the other two shown with it? Are they all ceramic?

The green and those cream ones are some kind of plastic, fused onto thread. Blueish ones are ceramic.

Thanks, the green ones fooled me.

The snakey metallic one looks interesting.
I like the amber glass tubes, they look older than the AB beads with them.
Those white glass ones clean up well. Great haul for 33p each!.
Shame about the coral. Some you win, some you lose. At that price I think you still won.
I’m dabbling with selling stuff on FB and sold 2 out of 3 items within minutes!. At least there are no fees so a good alternative to eBay for the lower ticket items.
One item had been on eBay for weeks and sold for more straight away.

The first one must have taken ages to make & thread. It almost resembles small slithers & flakes of seashells.

@KSW When you say things sold in minutes, are you having to ship the items? Trying to figure out if FBMP would be worth my time. Thanks.

KSW's in the UK, so what sells there may not move here and vice versa. That said, the top two shell necklaces often do better than you'd expect, especially the carved ones. The beads molded onto a string are only good as lot filler. The one made of itty bitty seed bead strands woven together (9th one down) looks Japanese but the findings look German.

They are items of jewellery that I will post. I think I will put the items that I’m not sure about or are of significant value on eBay, but stuff that’s a bit ordinary or I am very sure of the value I’m going to put on FB. One lot of Czech brooches were relisted about 10 times on eBay at 12.99, on FB the same brooches £18 sold within minutes. Different customers maybe or just lucky today. The post office isn’t far away so fairly easy for me.

I'm rather fond of those shell necklaces, I seem to have quite a few. Oops.

One of the pearl necklaces is a really good heavy one. Another little one is nigh on perfect, might keep it.

I know what you mean on the seed multi strand, the fittings do look German, as do a couple of the others. I like the green beads, shame they're moulded but I've a friend who likes all things green.

I'm keeping the red seed bead one, the "silver" geometric, the tube and AB one - it's on chain, so decent quality - , the milk glass tooth one and maybe the long clear white seed bead. The modern purple one is decent glass, I can find a home for it with another friend. MOP with those nice carved coral beads will go to a friend who makes jewellery.

Selling on FB: stuff can go REALLY fast sometimes. I take PayPal or cheque or bank transfer, even had cash. Postage at cost.

The first two and the one in the last photograph, look like pieces I bought when I lived in the Bahamas back in the 80s. The first two are made from Conch shells. I'm not sure where the last one is but I know I have it somewhere.

Lots of people on FB don’t check eBay first. So you can actually get more than stuff is worth on eBay on FB. The only thing I’ve found is that as I list more and more and my profile becomes more and more known I get fewer sales like that. People are looking for deals and when they see the same person is a “pro” seller/dealer I think they know they aren’t going to be getting a deal and skip your listings. Maybe I’m paranoid but I know there are people that once I see they are the seller I just keep going. I know they are already trying to get top dollar.
