Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Check out some of the "sold" prices on eBay for period photos of Edwin Booth. They used to do quite well

That blue vase is too cool. I always love Frankoma. Nice finds Johnny. That first vase - West German maybe?

Waited out a bad thunderstorm storm at Savers today and had time to look thoroughly through the jewelry case (which I rarely do).

    Mexican 50's - 60's aztec calendar sterling brooch - 2" across.

Crown Trifari moonstone and glass brooch - also about 2" across -

Nice score! I've been in Savers here recently, and did score some sterling but it's very modern.

Thanks! Me too :) I think it'll probably fall somewhere in their auction estimate - if it goes higher - even better!

My finds of the day: eggs for 19 cents for a dozen (limit one - but then who needs two) and a 10k pendant for $15 with the Pratt & Whitney logo on it. My dad worked for them around the same time the pendant was made, it's one of those service award things, and it's headed for my Christmas stocking.

Uncovered this set today, Russian Matryoshka doll chess set - it is listed as the #1 weirdest chess set on Chess.com Also had this checker set, I'm thinking also Russian but I'm not finding them anywhere.

Cool set, Cx. I've never seen anything like that.

Johnny, I love you sharing your thought process about the different items. Made me smile. "Too kitschy to leave behind". I've used that defense before!

I'm betting that'll be easy to sell on, if you don't use it to hoard other stuff or as a booth display.
