Stetson Gloves

    I bought these gloves and the label as you can see in the picture is pretty worn. Can anyone tell me about what year they would be from and what the value of them are? Also what material are they made out of?

    They appear to be nylon. Do they feel like nylon? If not, they'd be cotton.

    A quick internet search bring up 1946 as a first use date for that STETSON Gloves trademark and a registration date of 1956. That style works with those dates and -- if they're nylon -- they'd certainly be post-War.

    Those are quite worn and wouldn't have been expensive in their time. One problem with reselling vintage women's gloves is that hands have gotten bigger over time and often they're not a wearable size.
