African necklaces

    billyd3us Thanks All my Friends

    Here's 2 African necklaces I cannot find online, the white one is all carved bone.

    The other one also has some bone on it, trying to figure out the tribes maybe or era on both, the white bone one seems newer, maybe 1980's, the other one I have no idea.
    Need help please

    The elephants look Asian.

    More likely Indian than African. Beyond that...dunno. They could be 3 years old or 33.

    Both necklaces are from India. The top one is made by the Chin or Naga, or inspired by Chin or Naga necklaces, for the tourist trade or export. The Chin and Naga are two neighbouring tribes in north-eastern India.
    The other one is not tribal, but a generic handmade Indian souvenir.
