Bone? Book Shelf

    Hi,
    Would this be bone trim on this desktop book slide?
    Sorry about the photos, I'm not sure why I can't get a clear shot.
    Any information appreciated

    It would be hard to get the curved sections in one piece out of any kind of bone. It is not Celluloid/similar. Looks like ivory to me, cut with the grain.

    ?? Ebony and yes it is ivory.. nice translucency of the grain..lovely items...regards ..pewter2

    4 4 ivory. And as pewter thought, probably ebony.
