Another Military Question on Photos

    Can you get in trouble for selling old confidential military photos. I would think by now that would be public record. But just want to make sure before I do.

    There was a previous discussion similar to your question. I’m sure others will weigh in. I think it matters how they are labeled, eBay has some rules, which are quoted in this post.

    I don’t know how your photos are labeled. If they say Property of XYZ Government, this conversation applies.

    If you have an area 51 photo of an extra terrestrial .....and sell it....

    Nothing really cool just 6 or 7 photos of railroad bridges they wanted to blow up in North Korea

    I don’t know of too many items that were classified “confidential” in the Korean War, that have not been declassified. I’m 100% certain those photos are now unclassified. If you want it to look official, pay about $10. At a rubber stamp shop and have a self-inking “unclassified” stamp (black ink) made up, then get busy.
