Antique leather men's wallet

This wallet came with a lot of other stuff, when clearing a house.
It only caught my attention when I saw the text in gold print inside.
And made me even more curious when I saw Lister Ruston diesel engines are...
What would you sell this for? Because I can't find similar example ....

 

Could this instead of a wallet, be a cover for maintenance records of some sort?
Or an owners manual?

older wallets ...larger size....with spaces for train tickets...large bills......
Wallet sounds OK.....
Likely a salesman's item , produced for the company.
Pretty well used...but could still have value for a Transportation collector...

Unsure of what price it could command......it's up to you I guess !

 

Ok, wallet it is. That was all I could come up with, I also did not see this anywhere, so I shall leave it up to others who may know more.

 

Passport holder?

It's very worn. Even if that's an exotic leather, I wouldn't expect it to have much value. As advertising ephemera, it's fairly abstruse.

Paper money used to be larger, so a wallet (billfold) is entirely possible

On my search for prices, I saw old wallets (even worn) at many different prices...
