Featured Tibetan Prayer Wheel - Older or Repro?

I picked this up today, which the resale shop called a "incense." I realized it was a hand held prayer wheel. When I got home and started to research it, I saw that it might not be just tourist tat. So I am presenting it to you, as well as sold listings on Live Auctioneer that are similar. Some are referred to as antiques. There are differences though, which could point to mine being a copy. I wanted to see what you all thought. It has its scroll, which is turning to powder. Any thoughts?

I'd say its a tourist piece. Whilst I lived in Nepal (during the 1990s) I watched such items being made. It is also exceptionally difficult (almost impossible) to obtain a licence to take ancient/historical objects out of the country.
