Need Help identifying this painting. IVAN? Rare?

I really have no information on it or what style of painting it is. The people in the painting are raised and im not sure what they used to raise them. Any information would help!

    i like it, its got a cool animation shot feel to it

    i would think the bodies where applied straight from the tube, then textured

    Just because I was curious to see other paintings by him - I found out that there has been a key mistake made in the identity - Bruun, not Brunn.
