Wheeeeee! Anund shoots! He scores! You must get there right when they're putting stuff out. Then again, I've done that in one store and still never find anything.

Here’s the Christofle, hopefully there will be some spoons out tomorrow and I’m missing 1 dinner and 1 dessert fork and 12 dinner knives for the Towle set.

All that sterling put out? Wow! Speechless, Anund.

That carved Merganser is just stunning. An absolute work of art.

Wheee! I never find ANYTHING in the bags, and the few I've bought have been total losers. That said, this turned up in a charity thrift yesterday with some straight-to-scrap 14k earrings. It tests for silver and doesn't have a mark to its name. No clue where it came from. It's hollow, otherwise it would be too heavy to wear. DSCF5573.JPG DSCF5577.JPG

It isn’t broken so I suspect it was in a pocket or something and was accidentally dropped. It’s got tiny marks on one of the rings I can’t read. The MOP brooch, Cameo, Heart pearl brooch, small silver green stone charm and large amber piece all came from online. Ring, P brooch with two pearls, horse brooch and brooch covered in pearls all came from estate sales. I’m happiest for the amber piece, it was listed as a “silver tone yellow stone” brooch. They missed the small 925 on the bottom of the pin. It may be copal but under black light it does fluoresce. I got it for the price of a cup of coffee.

Got the dinner knives today for another $8.+, so I’m still shy one each of the forks for a full 6 piece, 12 place settings for a little over $40. Btw, no monograms either.
Sadly no spoons for the Christofle came out yet.

    Even so... wheeee! Rockin!

I went to an antique store today and came home with $400+ more than I left the house with. Gotta love when that happens. I also ran into another dealer I used to know years ago. The guy I went to see yelled "Hey Bob, do you want this?" Sold him a sterling lighter for $25 - but I only had $5 in it.(LOL)

Im pea green with envy ! I havent found so much as a spoon in months now. Of course I dont go as often as I used to,its too scary with covid and the non maskers. The one shop where I always could count on something apparently has been clued in so you cant even get a pretty trinket for under $10 these days. And several of my fave private ones are no more. Id plotz if I found all that silver !

It means first quality as opposed to a second. That Lutken is super.

Ah ha. That should go without saying. :joyful: Yes. I was so pleased with the color and the high polish. Thanks for giving me right spelling
