Looking for ID on Covered Bowl - EAPG?

Hello everyone - I'm looking for an ID for this covered nappy. I think it's EAPG but am not sure. Any help would be appreciated. It's about 6 3/4" to the top of finial and 7" across the base. Amazingly it survived with all those little lid teeth intact. Thanks in advance. Don

Gorgeous - what's a nappy? Cake plate is stunning!

 

Hi scouthouse - a nappy is a kind of small bowl or dish. A kind of catch-all dish for whatever you wanted to serve. Usually they're smaller than my piece but the definition appears to be flexible. Some definitions require it to have a handle but others do not.

Correct, in 1887 it was in Wellsburg, WV, I should have remembered that, too.

scoutshouse I know a person who scoured the cut glass catalogs trying to come up with a definition. The best her could do was bowl shaped but what the maker called it either a napppy or a bowl with or without a handle. No consistency anyplace.
