Just thought I'd combine these two items but will edit/repost if that's a crap idea :)

The spoon is a recent $2 find and was solidly black (is there a term for the thrill of seeing the silver emerge when polishing?) I don't recognize all of the markings and hoped someone might. Hard to see even in hand and may need to reshoot, but for now --
The bowl is damaged, gouged/scraped/dented a bit but figured the handle was so nice it may fly along to jewelry crafters. It would perhaps make a really nice bracelet or ring.

This keyring has been floating around from box to tray for no idea how long exactly, guessing at least 10 or more years so it's impossible to remember where it came from. Was blackened and has taken more effort cleaning than I'd have believed but those specks of tarnish are stubborn.

From what I can see in comparison, the font appears to match early 20th century marks and surely T&co sold many of the horseshoe style - but I haven't seen this particular ring and can find no marks on ring itself, but it's definitely sterling. The T&co mark seems slightly off center, which is red flag-able. The connecting hardware is soldered however & there is no way to remove the horseshoe without damage, so idk - opinions? Key ring doesn't look right to me either. I've never seen anything remotely like that design (although I've only been shopping at Tiffany's since the 1970s,) and strange that ring so elaborate but fob so plain. Just doesn't have a Tiffany's esthetic. And... according to this... Tiffany's didn't even begin selling silver key rings until the 1960s.

How interesting. And how interesting that they're both, according to the sellers, from 1962. Wonder where they got that information. Well, the one way to be sure it's genuine is to take it to Tiffany's for repair.

And how interesting that both those sellers sell so many vintage Tiffany items.

Ah, the 1962 date comes from a catalog. That's helpful. "Lariat key ring with good luck disk for engraving."

Thanks everyone, I'm in a bit of a rush so will explore those links etc later....As for the key ring, I'm not sure which way to feel - on one hand it seems affirming to see the same off center stamp, on the other makes me more suspicious to see two more identical pieces after looking for a long while. Have to ponder but really appreciate the help, thanks again
