Hello. I have just acquired a Sutherland occasional table. I believe it is Edwardian. Is there a way to find out anything about it. The only marking on it is 2933L stamped on the frame. Any help would be appreciated.

Most welcome That looks like it tucks away nicely when not in use, and maybe a handy 'tea table' when needed!!! Others should be along to help you out more!! @verybrad, @Ghopper1924??

A beautiful hardwood mahogany gateleg trestle table. Early Edwardian or late Victorian seems about right. The 2933L stamped number is probably an internal reference number or serial number for the manufacturer's use. In the absence of a tag or ink stamp,it will be very difficult to tell who made the table, as most furniture makers did not sign their work during this time period.

Thank you Aquitaine and Ghopper. It is a beautiful table. Unfortunately it has been covered in very poorly applied varnish.
