    If you've got any vinyl records kicking around, try your UV light on them. The results can be surprising.

    The ones that surprised me were the pale green beads. I'm fairly sure they're peridot.

    Nothing better than half an hour with a UV light! Best £3.99 I’ve ever spent!.
    Even though I’ve been through my hoard lots of times I still find new bits and pieces that glow.
    The top necklace is very special.

    That the peridot is peridot for a start. ;) And the beads are, as I suspected nice older Bohemian uranium glass.

    I think we all have deep wells!

    I really like the faceted Bohemian beads: In daylight, they're pinky yellow and vary according to how you hold them. Then, the UV. The yellow and blue strand were a surprise.

    My UV flashlight goes with me whenever I am out exploring. Found some interesting things even at Goodwill stores.
