Nah. They should call it "Body Ball" because you can hit the ball with any part of your body except your head. American football is kicked with your foot. End of story.

When I was a child in England the boys FOOTBALL boots were CALLED football boots .. not soccer !! I'm 75yrs old so we are going back a while. I remember they were brown leather and belonged to the school .. they were kept in a huge basket on wheels in the gymnasium and the boys would pick out a pair as needed .. I'm quite sure that many boys had the wrong size on their feet, but the war was over and there wasn't much to be had, I'm sure the boys have their own football boots now. I don't know what those "studs" on the soles were called but it seems to me that there was quite a few more on them back then. English football is played with the feet, no running with the ball in ones hands .. it is passed to a team mate by kicking it not throwing it. the head can be used to pass also, and to intercept. I LOVE FOOTBALL !!! ... Joy.
