Yeah, you see his stuff fairly often at antique furniture auctions even though it's not antique.

    Hi,
I met George many years ago when I lived in Philadelphia and went to New Hope several times a month. He had beautiful furniture. I was a firm believer in 200 old furniture not any modern stuff. He was always a quiet man but I have seen him get really riled at certain people. he had a bench I almost bought. Each end was raw and looked rotted. He had five or six Dutchman pieces holding the ends together. It was a beautiful walnut with curved graining. It just looked like you could dive into it.
I did buy 3 vases from him which I gave as presents one Christmas. I have always wondered what happened to the people I gave them to.

I'm officially jealous, first of your meeting him and second of whoever got those vases. Odds are their kids put them in a yard sale. :sour::sour::sour: (and I wish I'd been at the yard sale!)
