You dont give a size but Im 95% sure these are dollhouse rugs. Machine made. If larger sized,Id call them a place mat.

They look exactly what my "mouse Pads" look like. They are hand woven and come with a black rubber backing. They can be bought without the backing for doll houses.

I've found more than one piece like this sold as a souvenir of Turkey. The ones I found were bookmarks and the like, but at least one was a wall hanging about this size. The bookmarks would make great runners for a dollhouse.

Not embroidery, but that was stated. I do think since they are framed they were purchased as souvenirs and not rugs, but could be used as rugs.
