SHEFFIELD PEWTER- S.P ABBOTT. Anyone knows date of manufacturing?

The company George Travis with Samuel Russell established 1861, then Travis and co from 1863,at 69 Charles st . From 1909 at the Clarence works traded as G Travis and co . traded under several partnership names from this date..
The name Manor Pewter co was taken over from A Milns in 1926 and traded up until 1967. Style and date of your item would be around 1926 to 1930...regards ..pewter2

Yes I have, just the North Island though. I used to live in Sydney, so not too far away.

I see. Auckland is quieter than Sydney. Never been to the Netherlands but would love to. It is in the plan with Bergen, Oslo, Copenhagen, Malmo, Stockholm and Helsinki

 

Ah, yes, tour of the Nordic cities. lovely. All members or associates of the old Hanseatic trade league, although Amsterdam got in with a trick, so a fake member. There are true Hansa towns in the east of the Netherlands, though. Groningen, Zwolle, Deventer. I'm sure I forgot some.
After so many centuries there is still a feeling of kinship between the old Hansa towns.
