Woodblock Print

From my searches I believe this is a woodblock print by Fujikawa Tamenbou, from a series Famous Places of Tokaido, c. 1890-1910. No dots seen under magnification.
I am not at all knowledgeable about art, so am seeking confirmation of my ID.

I went round and round with prices, since most sites I could not get that info from. The ones I've seen on worthpoint sold for about $30 - $130. Does that seem about the right price range? I mostly want to be sure this is not something with any significant value before I sell it locally.

Well I have to admit defeat on this one!

The style and colour of the piece is quite far removed from the typical woodblock prints of the 1890-1910 period and I would say his works bear more than a passing similarity to the much earlier style and works of Hiroshige.

That said, I don't think the prints of Fujikawa Tamenobou are important enough to have been recut, although one never knows!
So it is probably period and whatever value you find out there on the web for comparables is probably correct. It is quite attractive, but so derivative I don't think his works will ever be regarded as anything more than a curiosity ...just my opinion though, YMMV

 

I thought about doing that JayBee, but am trying to avoid making a mess of things unless absolutely necessary.
