i love this 18kt gold and ruby mouse ring. While I am not finding a signature, it is numbered "13462". Any ideas on maker?
That is the specific one of interest. There would be a lot fewer deals out there if every auction house knew exactly what they were selling! That being said, I have dealt with Hill before and they are generally knowledgeable and sell quality items.
Is he nibbling on his own tail or on someone else's? If it is his own, it is like a quirky eternity symbol. If it is not, he is one naughty little mouse.
Both rings appear to have casting porosity with the Hill example looking worse, usually a more well known company would have put them in the recycle bin.
The only good mouse is the dead one my my trap and shortly thereafter in the garbage can. No idea who made this one.
Starting to become more standard. Just needs to be accounted for with shipping in determing your net price. Ultimately, it is the consignor that pays.
So they are. OK, folks, what does this mean? Danno, do you have this ring in hand/on finger, or is it something you are considering buying?
Something that I am considering. Hoping to gain a competitive advantage by having a more complete understanding of the piece, including maker. My pre-auction research has not provided any clues yet with the auction just a couple of days away. Thought I would check here.
