Featured Cinnabar Brooch and Earrings On Gold?

This is an older set. Still have more cleaning to do but these are preliminary pics. The brooch is marked although I don't understand what it says. Brooch is 1 1/4" x 1". I do think these are all set in gold. Could use a little help. Magnet does not stick to metal or cinnabar.

 

Maybe the brooch marks say SIL GILT? For silver gilt.

It's Chinese, no question. I have a brooch just like that with matching earrings up on Ebay as I type. They're usually gilt silver of some kind.

That filigree, the enamel higlights, the back - all Chinese export.

Could it be gilt brass? Just wondering because of the greenies on the pin frame.

 

I think they are the enamel highlights that OBB mentions above Marie.

 

Funny, they look fuzzy, not like I would expect enamel to look. Maybe it's just the photo.

 

They do look like enamel higlights to me, they're so regular. Also, silver gilt wouldn't really get greenies.

 

Turquoise-color enamel. Not greenies.
