Welcome Timothy! The top word is "Wheelock". Wheelock was a large importer of porcelain from Germany between 1882 and 1909. They brought in a lot of souvenir ware. Can't tell you too much more without seeing a picture of the item itself.

Thank you Don! it is a bud vase/Souvenir I believe, made for Vassar College in Poughkeepsie NY, 4.75" high. Pic attached, Wm R. Farrington had a local store there that sold these from what I have found.

Very nice. The color scheme is a bit unusual. Cobalt blue is what I normally see. Condition looks exceptional. You rarely see the gold without much wear. Dollar value on these is not very high - maybe $10 to $15 but could go higher. The value is more in the Vasser connection then anything else. Don

Farrington was a benefactor to Vasser in some way. The internet will give you more information.

Yes, I did read that, thank you Deborah. Don I did see one go recently for $40 and subject was South New Berlin New York, I'm hoping the condition and subject matter of the college will bring some interest. Thanks again!

Best of luck! Remember you can always start on the high end of the your range and drop the price if necessary. If you get a chance please let us know how it works out.
